A local banner exchange

Your banner on other South African sites. One flat price, no bidding.

Rotated Exchange is a small local network for banner ads. Show a banner on your site and get your own banner shown on other members' sites, or pay a flat monthly fee for up to a set number of verified views.

We haven't launched yet. Tell us what you'd use it for.

An example banner slot rotating between five made-up sites. Examples only.

Two ways to use it

Show a banner, get advertised free

Put one small banner slot on your site. Each verified view it gets earns you credit toward having your own banner shown on other members' sites.

Earning credit needs about 2,000 visitors a month. Smaller sites can still join as advertisers.

Pay a flat monthly fee

Pick a plan and get up to a set number of verified views each month. We aim to deliver all of them and treat 90% as the minimum. No bidding, no per-click charges, no surprise bills. You don't need to show banners yourself.

Any legal business is welcome. Every banner is checked before it runs.

How we plan to count views

  • A view means it was seen. At least half of the banner is on screen for one second. Bots are filtered out.
  • Both sides see the same numbers. The site showing your banner and you read from the same record.
  • No cookies, no profiles. The banner script is small and builds no profile of visitors.
  • Site owners stay in control. Block categories of advertiser, so a law firm's site doesn't have to show just anything.
  • Plain image banners only. No scripts and no third-party trackers in anything that runs on your site.
  • Traffic, not SEO. Links are marked as sponsored. Rotated Exchange gives no search ranking or backlink benefit.

Questions

Do I need to show banners to advertise?

No. Paid plans work on their own. Showing banners is the free way to earn views.

My site is small. Can I still join?

Yes, as an advertiser. Earning credit by showing banners needs about 2,000 visitors a month, so there are enough views to count.

Will this help my search ranking?

No. Rotated Exchange is for traffic and exposure. Banner links are marked as sponsored, and we don't accept members who join for link value.

What can't be advertised?

Anything illegal, and adult content. Banners are reviewed before they run, and site owners can block more categories on their own site.
